Every LuvionBio Order Ships With Free Diluent Included. We do not sell Diluent, also known as Bacteriostatic Water, as a standalone item. It is provided as a complimentary inclusion with research orders, and the quantity is determined by the composition of your order.
Diluent Is Included With Every Order
Including Diluent at no charge is part of how we approach this market. Most suppliers leave researchers to source it separately. We include it because a complete, traceable shipment is a better standard than a partial one.
- No Additional Charge — Diluent is included with every order at no cost
- Quantity Varies — The amount included is determined by the composition and size of your order
- Nothing to Add at Checkout — It is allocated automatically. You do not need to request it
- Not Listed on Your Invoice — Because Diluent is a complimentary inclusion rather than a purchased item, it does not appear on your invoice or receipt. It will still be in your package
- Verified Before Shipment — Every order is checked against its allocation before it leaves us, so Diluent will not be missing from your package
We Do Not Sell Diluent Separately
Bacteriostatic Water is not offered as a standalone catalog item and cannot be purchased on its own. Given the compliance environment this market operates in, we provide Diluent strictly as an accessory to research orders rather than as a product for individual sale. This is a firm policy and we are not able to make exceptions to it.
Reconstitution Is the Researcher's Determination
LuvionBio Cannot Advise on Reconstitution. This includes volumes, concentrations, ratios, preparation methods, and protocol design.
Determining an appropriate approach for a given compound is a function of your specific study design and intended application. That determination belongs to the researcher conducting the work, and it is outside what a research supplier can appropriately provide.
Our support team will not answer questions about reconstitution protocols, and asking a second time will not produce a different answer. This is not a limitation on our service. It is the boundary of the role we occupy, and holding to it is what keeps this market credible as it matures.
Lot Numbers and Third-Party COAs
Every vial in your package carries Lot Number Tracking tied to a Third-Party Validated Certificate of Analysis.
This means any vial you receive can be traced back to its specific production lot and the independent analytical results for that lot. If you need the COA for a lot in your order, contact us with your Order Number and the Lot Number printed on the vial.
Storing Your Diluent
- Do Not Freeze the Diluent — Water expands as it freezes, which can crack the vial or compromise its seal
- Refrigeration Is Fine — As is controlled room temperature
- Keep the Seal Intact — Store the vial sealed until you are ready to use it
Note that storage guidance for Diluent differs from the lyophilized vials in your order, which can be frozen. Do not apply the same handling to both.
Damaged or Missing Items
Because allocation is verified before shipment, Diluent will not be absent from your package. If an item does arrive damaged, or something is genuinely missing, replacement is available through Luvion Package Protection.
- With Luvion Package Protection — Added at checkout, this covers replacement of damaged or missing items
- Without It — Contact us and we will review your order on a case-by-case basis
When to Contact Us
- A Diluent vial arrived cracked, leaking, or with a compromised seal
- An item is missing from your order
- You need the COA for a specific Lot Number
Email info@luvionbio.com with your Order Number. For damaged items, include photos of the vial and packaging.
